Second Marriage in Astrology

Astrology can give you information about Your Second Marriage Seeing the planetary position in your Horoscope. Presence of Second Marriage Yoga or Multiple Marriage Yoga in Horoscope can give you Remarriage after Breakup or Separation.

But strong Yoga for Second Marriage in astrology is not good for First Marriage as it indicates Yoga for Divorce and Separation as well.

According to Ancient Jyotishi Sage-Kalidasa, the Second House is the house of Second Spouse.  Second house is the eighth house (death) from the seventh house (first spouse).

So the second house signifies the death or the end of the first marriage. Using Kalidasa’s approach, each subsequent marriage is eighth houses from the previous one. The seventh house is the first marriage. The second house is the second marriage. The ninth house is the third marriage and so on.

There are Some other Astrologers who uses the ninth house as the house of the second spouse. This is because the ninth house is the third house (sister) from the seventh house (wife). In ancient times, it was a common practice to marry the sister of the wife if the first wife died.

In my Personal Practice, I have found that 2nd House is the house of Second Marriage and also I uses Second house in my analysis.

If your Horoscope has combination for Second Marriage and You also run a Favorable period for this, You can have 2nd Marriage.

But before that we should check whether Yoga for Divorce or Sepration is present in our chart or not. If our chart and Navamsa do not indicate Divorce or Separation, Second marriage will not happen.

• Malefic Like Rahu, Mars and sun is placed in 7th house can indicate divorce. Mars in 7th house also creates Manglik dosh in the Kundli. If sun is placed in the 7th house, there can be ego clash among the partners.
• If the 7th Lord is Debilitated or afflicted or retrograde it also gives a indication of Bad marriage.
• The second House from Upapada Lagna is afflicted by Malefic Planets or debilitated planets can also harm the Marital happiness and bring an end to the marriage.
• When the 7th house in Navamsa is afflicted by Malefics like Saturn, Rahu/Ketu, Mars etc the chances of divorce is very high.
• The Significator of marriage venus when gets afflicted in Rashi chart as well as Navamsa Chart, there is strong indication of separation in astrology.

Important Houses for Second Marriage Prediction

• 2nd House : The second marriage is seen from the 2nd house of the Horoscope.
• 9th House : 9th house is the House of Fortune and also it is the 3rd house from 7th house. As 3rd house indicates Younger one, So 9th house of Horoscope is related With Second Marriage.

• When 7th Lord is in Dual Sign or 7th house is also in Dual Sign, it indicates More than one Marriage. Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius and Pisces are Dual Sign. When 7th Lord is placed in these House, it can give you More than one Marriage.
• Conjunction of 2nd Lord and 9th Lord in 7th house or in 9th house also creates Second Marriage Yoga.

The Calculation of Second Marriage can be done as per the rules discussed below.

1. The most important condition is the strength of Lagnalord of the Navamsha. The Lagna lord should be exalted or retrograde or in own sign and well placed in kendra, trikona or eleventh house.
2. In the Navamsa chart , 7th Lord is in 2nd house or 7th Lord is conjunct with 2nd Lord in the Navamsa chart indicates Second Marriage in Astrology.

4. The seventh house should have malefic association. Normally association of benefics with seventh house/lord do not give many mamages.
5. The promise of marriage should be present from Lagna of birth chart and Lagna of navamsha chart. (Nadi principle). The promise from the sign placement may be spoiled.
6. The conjunction of 2nd Lord of Navamsha and 5th Lord of Navamsha is Good Yoga for remarriage.
7. The conjunction of 5th Lord of D9 chart and 9th Lord of D9 chart is also a good Yoga for remarriage or Second Marriage.
8. Placement of second, seventh and twelfth lord of Navamsha chart in upchaya houses (3,6, 10 and 11) house of D9 chart will give many mamage. It also indicate rich wife.
9. Planets in the 2nd house of Navamsha chart indicates Nature, Look and Physical Apperance of your Spouse.

Timing for Second Marriage- When will your Second Marriage happen

Only Presence of Second Marriage Yoga does not guarantee you a Remarriage. You will need Favorable Time Period and Dasha for 2nd Marriage.

Marriage is Possible in the Dasha of 2nd Lord or Planets placed in the 2nd house or Planets conjunct with 2nd Lord. As 2nd House is the Most important house for 2nd Marriage, the Dasha or time of 2nd Lord is very Favorable for Second Marriage.

This is the chart of one of my known Person. His First Marriage Lasted Less than One Year and his Second Marriage is Stable.

In his chart the 7th Lord Mars is Afflicted by Rahu in Navamsa and the Mars-Rahu conjunction in the 7th house indicates severe Afflictions regarding first Marriage. So he faced Divorce in his First Marriage. The 2nd Lord of his chart Mercury is in the 7th house. This creates Yoga for Second Marriage. Though his 2nd house has Rahu but in the Navamsa the 2nd house is free from any Affliction and the 2nd Lord Mercury is also free from any Malefic affliction in Navamsa. So this shows that his Second Marriage will be Largely Stable but due to Rahu some Friction, differences etc will occur sometime.

Saif Ali Khan

This is the chart of Blywood Actor Saif Ali Khan. He is born with Aries Ascendant and his 7th Lord Venus is Debilitated in the 6th house. 8th Lord Mars aspects the 7th house.
